Archive & Delete

Take gear out of service or remove it permanently.

OneTake gives you two ways to remove gear from active use: archive (keep the record) and delete (remove it entirely).

Archive

Archiving keeps the item's record but marks it as no longer active.

  • Archived items show an Archived badge on their detail page.
  • They still appear in your Inventory list alongside active gear.
  • Archived items are excluded from active counts and portfolio totals on the Dashboard.
  • Use the Archive / Unarchive toggle on the item's detail page to switch back and forth.

Archive gear you no longer use but want to keep on record — sold items, retired equipment, or anything you might bring back.

Delete

Deleting removes the item permanently.

  1. On the item's detail page, choose Delete.
  2. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
  3. The item is removed and you're returned to your Inventory list.

Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. If you might want the record later, archive the item instead.
