Security

Manage your password and account security.

Manage your sign-in security under Settings → Security.

Change your password

You can change your account password here.

Confirmation email

When your password is changed, OneTake sends a confirmation email to your account address. The email includes a Secure your account link that goes to /forgot-password — use it if you didn't make the change, so you can reset your password immediately.

The same confirmation email is sent when you add a password to an account that previously used only social sign-in (Google, LinkedIn, or Facebook). The link in that email goes to the same /forgot-password page.

If your reset link has expired or is no longer valid, the reset-password page redirects you to /forgot-password with ?error=token_expired in the URL. The form shows an inline notice:

"That reset link has expired or is invalid. Enter your email to get a new one."

Enter your email address and submit to receive a fresh reset link. The notice only appears for ?error=token_expired — other error values and a clean URL show no notice.

Sign out

Signing out clears your session and returns you to the sign-in page. The sign-out action is available from Settings and elsewhere in the app.

HTTPS enforcement

OneTake enforces HTTPS on every page. After your first visit, your browser remembers this and refuses to load the app over an unencrypted connection — even if you type a plain http:// address manually. This behavior is standard for all modern HTTPS sites and requires no action on your part.
