Take a Tour
A quick walkthrough of the main areas of OneTake Studio.
Here's where everything lives. Each area has its own section in these docs.
Dashboard
Your home base. Shows total gear count, portfolio value, insured value, and any coverage gap, plus a preview of recently added items. → Dashboard
Inventory
The full list of your gear. Add, view, edit, archive, and delete items here. → Inventory
Insurance
Compares what your gear is worth against what you've insured, and flags underinsured items. → Insurance
Studio
Your studio's details, rooms, team members, and audit log. → Studio & Team
Membership
Your plan, payment methods, and billing history. → Membership
Settings
Your profile, notification preferences, security, and data. → Settings
Notifications
The bell icon sits in the rail's bottom cluster, next to your account avatar. It shows a dot when you have unread items. → Notifications
Help
Select Help from the account menu — opened from the avatar at the bottom of the rail — to open these docs in a new tab.
On a phone
On a narrow screen, navigation changes shape. The rail collapses into a slim bar pinned to the top of the screen, and your four main destinations — labeled Dashboard, Equipment, Insurance, and Studio — move to a bar fixed along the bottom of the screen instead. ("Equipment" here is the same section this guide calls Inventory.)
An Add gear button floats just above the bottom bar, in the lower-right corner, so you can add a piece of gear from wherever you are in the app.
This phone layout, and the icon rail it goes with on larger screens, are now
the standard navigation for every account — the earlier gradual rollout behind
the appShellRail feature flag has ended, and the flag itself has been
removed from the codebase.
