Pause Your Subscription

Pause billing for up to 60 days and what to expect while your account is paused.

OneTake supports a 60-day subscription pause. Pausing suspends billing without canceling your subscription — your studio data stays intact and your subscription resumes automatically at the end of the pause window.

The pause and early-resume controls live in the Stripe customer portal, not inside the OneTake app itself. OneTake detects the change automatically when Stripe confirms the transition.

How to pause

Initiate a pause from the Stripe customer portal, accessible from Membership → Plan.

Once you confirm the pause in the portal, Stripe notifies OneTake and your account enters the paused state within one webhook round-trip.

While your account is paused

When your account is paused, a banner appears across the app letting you know:

"Your account is paused."

How your subscription resumes

There are two ways the pause ends:

  • Automatic resume — at the end of the 60-day pause window, Stripe resumes the subscription and billing restarts. No action needed.
  • Early manual resume — you can end the pause before the window expires from the Stripe customer portal.

Both paths arrive as the same transition in OneTake — a paused → not-paused change synced by the Stripe webhook. The banner clears automatically once OneTake receives the resume signal.

Audit log

Pause and resume transitions are recorded in your studio's audit log. A pause writes a subscription-paused entry; a resume (automatic or manual) writes a subscription-resumed entry.
